Sanctifying Christ as Lord in Your Heart

Romans 12:1-2 calls believers to present themselves as living sacrifices, set apart and transformed by the renewing of the mind rather than conformed to the patterns of the world.

𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹: There is a direct relationship between how deeply Christ is enthroned in your heart and how well you endure the pressure of the world around you. When opposition rises, when intimidation comes, when those who hate truth attempt to silence you, the answer is not louder arguments or sharper defenses. The answer is a heart more fully surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ. A sanctified heart does not panic under pressure. It does not respond to malice with malice or to slander with retaliation. It remains steady because it is anchored to something the world cannot touch, the risen and reigning Christ.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: What attitudes, habits, or thought patterns are currently competing with the full lordship of Christ in your inner life?

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Set aside fifteen minutes today in silence. Invite the Holy Spirit to identify one area of your heart that has not been fully surrendered to Christ, and then surrender it in prayer.
