Devotional Day 5 - Finish Well for the Glory of God

Oct 24, 2026  •  Pastor Larry Skero Jr

𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥: Paul writes from the end of his life with remarkable confidence, not in himself, but in the faithfulness of God. He had fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith. Among the first deacons appointed in Acts 6, several went on to give their lives as martyrs. Their service did not end at the table. It carried them through the full journey of their calling. God is not asking you to be impressive. He is asking you to be faithful to the very end. The reward is not found in applause from men but in hearing from the One whose opinion is the only one that will matter in eternity.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: If your life of service ended today, what would your legacy within the body of Christ reflect about your love for God and others?

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Write down one commitment you are making to serve faithfully in your current season of life, and share it with a trusted brother or sister in Christ who can hold you accountable.
